[nearly floats into the library a few minutes earlier than he had mentioned, drawing his fur coat in over his chest as wide eyes scanned for a now, familiar face]

Starling, [he greeted, spotting Pollux in a table near the one they'd first met] What are we reading today?

[Pollux was sitting at the same table as he had before, spinning a pencil on the top of it as he waited. When he heard the voice, he jumped a bit, glancing over to him cautiously.]

I'm not. Not today.

Well, that's silly. What else is there to do in a library? [he asked cheerfully, sitting at a slightly more appropriate distance today - though their thighs brushed as he sat]

[Pollux moved away from him slightly.]

Apparently meet with people. [He swallowed hard and focused more on the pencil.]

Just...don't start the singing thing.

You don't like my voice? [does actually seem.. a bit genuine in his hurt this time]

You shouldn't sing in a library. [He blinked and just stared hard at the table.]

Why are we even doing this? You're only playing some stupid game with me anyway.

[he lowered his voice, leaning in a bit] Just trying to make nice with the other inmates, Starling. No game.

[Pollux leaned back slightly, though he couldn't do much because of the way he was sitting in the chair. He pushed his hand over his messy hair and glanced to Brian.]

My name is Pollux.

I know, the brightest star in Gemini. [he smiled a bit wistfully]

[He sucked in a deep breath and tried to lean away from him again, though this meant that he almost fell out of his chair.]

Um, yeah. I guess. Castor used to tell me that.

[his hand darted out, preventing the chair from tipping - it was more of an automatic reaction than anything else]

You alright?

I'm fine. I promise. [He frowned a little at the response, though.]

Um, thanks. [He situated himself in the chair again.]

[he nodded, drawing his hand away]

Castor.. that's your brother? He took care of you?

Yeah. He did. [But Pollux didn't want to talk about his brother. He adjusted his glasses on his nose.]
