[Pollux appears on the screen, leaning forward  to pick up her glasses from the table and places them on her nose. It was obvious that she had overslept, as she was in a general state of disarray.  This is no different than when she was a male.]

My first taste of the actual magic here on the Barge has been a rather...enlightening one.

[Almost as an afterthought, she leans back and begins to hum a song. It is a somewhat meloncholy melody.]

Has anyone seen Paddy? I haven't heard from him in a few days. His warden said that he was missing, but...well, she didn't seem too worried. Are disappearances common here?

And where do they go?

People seem to disappear a lot here. My first warden disappeared during the last flood. I was told she went home.

I know people - both wardens and inmates - do disappear rendomly at times. Maybe the Admiral thinks they're well enough to graduate.
